How We Level Concrete
We level concrete by lifting the slab from below instead of tearing it out — a process called slabjacking, which you may also hear called mudjacking or slab lifting. Small ports are drilled through the slab, and a lifting material is pumped underneath to fill the empty space and raise the concrete back to grade. Because there’s no demolition and no long cure, most slabs are ready to use again the same day — it’s faster, cleaner, and cheaper than a full replacement, and filling the void underneath keeps the slab from sinking again. When a slab is too cracked or damaged to save, we’ll tell you honestly that replacement is the better long-term call.
